Baseacid introduces the Braille t-shirt range. They are finally here:
the boring testing phrase of washability and the more fun stage of wearability
has been completed. We did all the inhouse washing tests, yawn yawn, and
then we sent some shirts out to friends and family over the holiday period to have some
fun and get some valuable feedback (of course we gave our friends and family
other non t-shirt related presents, we aren't that cheap). The word is
fanbloodytouchyfeelytastic. That translates to the t-shirts rock: we think
so, our guinea pigs think so and so do the people who have been feeling up our
guinea pigs.
The Braille t-shirts are made from special raised flock which is ideal for
printing Braille on clothing. The flock can easily be distinguished from
the t-shirt by touch and can be clearly seen on the t-shirts as it's white.
They are great for going out and meeting new people (geeks: it's a good way to
get women to touch you), breaking the ice or amusing people you know. Be
warned with Braille on your t-shirt people will be expecting to feel you up.
The Braille t-shirts are £11.99 which is a little more expensive than most of
our t-shirts but it reflects the extra effort to make them fanbloodytouchyfeelytastic.
We've done our best to keep the prices down. We have also added the option
of having the Braille word or phrase written on the back of the t-shirt in a normal font
(see below) so people can find out what it means easily (or in case you forget).
Some people like this, especially if you're in a noisy bar all you have to do is
spin around but others prefer to leave it a mystery and possibly make up what it means. The choice is yours.
Our five Braille designs are:
We can also do any text (within reason) on a t-shirt in Braille
for you. We suggest between 1 and 25 letters on the t-shirt. If you
want to check if a t-shirt is possible please contact us. Check out our
design your own Braille t-shirt
to order.
Enjoy getting felt up!
