Everything you need to know and some things you don't about baseacid

How do I place my order?

1. Browse through the site until you find the item you wish to purchase.
   
2. From the product page click "add to cart" to add it to your shopping basket.
   
3. You can carry on shopping for other items and the ones you've added will stay in your cart
   
4. Once you've added all the items that you wish to purchase to your cart, you can begin the checkout process: You can checkout without an account or with an account. To checkout with an account either sign into your account or create an account. Please note that we do not share any of your personal information with anyone else and we do not store or have your credit card details. We use a third party secure processing system to ensure all your details are kept secure.

Can I track my order online?

Yes. Just log into your account and click on orders. We will send an email when we are processing your order and when it has been dispatched.

How do I pay?

We accept credit and debit card payments. We use a third party online processor. What that means is that a very well established and secure company take your payment details i.e. credit card/debit card details and pay us. We use this because it is more secure for you and less hassle for us. It's more secure as we don't get to see or have to store your credit card number and less hassle as we don't have to manually process your credit card and we don't have to worry about your security. The company we use is paypal mainly because everyone has heard of it and YOU DON'T need an account to pay for an item. You can pay using your credit/debit card without signing up similar to all other major online processing.

How much does it cost to ship to?

We've split our shipping into 3 simple zones:

• UK: £1.75 for the first item and £0.50 for each additional item
• Europe: £2.50 for the first item and £1.25 for each additional item
• Rest of World: £3.50 for the first item and £1.50 for each additional item

If you don't know what zone you fall into we suggest consulting a map.

Does my order have postal tracking?

We have all receipts for all items and tracking for all UK items. 99% of the time they are not needed as items arrive OK. If you have not received your item (within 5 days of receiving a dispatch email for UK and 3 weeks for everywhere else) please contact us. Before emailing we'd suggest checking with your neighbours or anyone you may live with to see if they received the item and ask at the postal depot if a grey mailing sack is being held for you. We will provide tracking information if your item has not turned up or you need it to collect the item.

How do you ship your items?

If you are in the UK your item will be sent recorded delivery. We try and send items first class where possible. Items to the rest of the world are sent via airmail. If you make a large order (10 or more items) we will use a courier/parcel service.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be happy with your product. If you are not happy with your purchase please contact us within 14 days of receiving the item. We will issue you with a returns number. Return the item within 7 days in the condition we sent it to you with your name, address, email address and returns number. Note we do not provide refunds/exchanges on personalised/customised items due to the nature of them. If an item is deemed to be faulty, return it to us in the same manor as above with an explanation of what is wrong with it. We will refund or replace a faulty item. The time period of 14 days also applies to faulty items and we do not take responsibility for damage that has been caused by someone/something outside our handling of the item. We do not refund/exchange items outside the 14 days or if they have been worn/damaged.

What kind of t-shirts do you sell?

We sell a little bit of everything. We started the business because we couldn't find the t-shirts we wanted, so we decided to make them. We soon realised we weren't the only ones who wanted to advertise our contempt for our jobs/people/life/the universe or show our sparkling wit on a t-shirt. You name the occasion and you can find a t-shirt to match, if not ask us to make one for you. We have divided our shirts up into different categories to help you find what you want.

T-shirt Categories

• Adult Humor t-shirts are x-rated, funny and risqué.
• Barcode shirts let you brand yourself as a geek, shoplifter, hacker, human being etc.
• Baseacid Original t-shirts are trendy unique concept t-shirts.
• Braille t-shirts are tactile shirts ideal for getting people to feel you.
• Crazy t-shirts advertise your mental health status and are just crazy funny.
• Drugs and Alcohol shirts are available for all major addictions; beer, spirits, crack, pot, prescription drugs, chocolate. If you can get addicted to it, we have a funny slogan t-shirt about it.
• Funny t-shirts to advertise your wit.  Funny t-shirt = funny person.
• Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual shirts cover it all as long as you aren't straight.
• Geek t-shirts are for the geek in all of us. Choose from computer gamer geek, office worker geek, general computer geek, offensive geek or our new internet culture t-shirts.  Get your geek on!
• Music and Culture shirts are inspired by popular culture and music from punk, goth, rock, heavy metal, emo to indie. Get your goth / emo / metal / punk / indie / rock (delete where appropriate) on with a music t-shirt.
• Northern Ireland shirts.   Choose Norn Iron ya wee ballix.
• Offensive t-shirts let you offend people without opening your mouth!  Join the dark side and buy an offensive t-shirt.
  
• TV and Movie shirts for those who are lost, a desperate housewife, Jack Bauer from 24 or just a TV / Movie geek.

• All t-shirts lets you browse an alphabetical complete list of all the t-shirts we offer, mixing offensive with geek, funny and crazy.

If you cannot find a shirt you want, try typing in a word you want on a t-shirt into our search engine or suggest a t-shirt to us by contacting us.

Can I design my own shirt?

In a word, YES! If you cannot find it in our shop contact us and request a t-shirt from us. We'll get back to you with a mock-up of what we think the t-shirt should look like and email it to you.

How do you look after/wash the shirts?

• Wash inside out
• Wash at a temperature under 60 degrees (preferably 40 degrees)
• Do not iron the image directly
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry

These are washing guidelines to maintain your shirt in its best condition. The t-shirts are designed to last and the print is designed not to crack or fade but you still have to treat your shirts with some care. We have been wearing some of our favourites for years. We've discovered that we are more likely to destroy our shirts by accidentally burning or cutting them than they are to fall apart. Maybe we are just clumsy.

Who are you?

What's all this about freebies?

Yes we like to give away some free baseacid t-shirts. We have various competitions running in the shop at any one time so check out the competition page. The prize is always the same, the money cannot buy baseacid original t-shirt (note colours may vary from t-shirt shown)
